I speak this day to elites, sons and daughters of God as a messenger. Every day we go to church, we meet it arranged, music is on, chairs are dusted, altars decorated, we see ushers standing throughout the service, choir singing with angelic voices, prayer band interceding, instrumentalists playing just to mention but a few. Looking into their eyes I see passion and love for God. When I look into the mission field I also see men and women that have abandoned all for God, a kind of passion that many Christians even pray not to have. For them to live is Christ and to die is gain. Beyond all these lie a throne and a crown in heaven. The big question is how many of these are truly saved? How many workers in the church are consciously prepared for rapture? There are many empty thrones in heaven and in these are the crowns of men and women who have laboured for God and yet could not make heaven because of the little foxes/leaven.
Our tithes, offering, gifts, worship, missions, going a fishing, preaching, humanitarian services, work in Church, sacrifice of love and time for Gods work are not in vain and cannot go unrewarded; but we need to strive, persevere, and be patient to enter His rest and be entitled to our crown. The bible says “to an inheritance, incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away reserved in heaven for you” (1 Pet. 1:4). Dear friend and fellow sojourner in Christ, there is no crown in hell, there is no joy in tears, there is no comfort in flames, nor aesthetics in shame, neither does hope lie in futility. Examine yourself today. Are you still in that number saved by grace? Is your name in the book of life? Have you been carried away already; Jesus is calling you. He says “…behold I am coming quickly! Hold fast that which you have, that no one may take your crown” (Rev. 3:11). How will He meet you?
THE LITTLE LILIES
The enemies of our faith do not lie in great things but in little foxes/leavens, infinitesimal yet significant enough to damn the soul. Anything the devil is doing to keep you in sin, no matter how comfortable you seem to be; is a satanic conspiracy to lead you to hell. The devil is fighting to ensure you don’t enter heaven. Anything the devil can do to destroy your soul, even if it means making you a billionaire he will do it. It is a serious business. He is not playing in his bid to shatter your destiny and land you in the dungeon of hell fire. What is your stand? The bible says “be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour” (1 Pet. 5:8). As a Christian do you still have an unforgiving spirit, lying, pride, envy, anger, lust, covetousness etc? In the battle for the crown of life you don’t fight giants and armed soldiers, these are what you contend with. These are the little foxes/leavens that have crept into Christianity and have led millions to hell.
Remember Samson, for him it was lust for Delilah. The armies of the Philistines couldn’t kill him & were no match to him, the lion was not a problem, but a subtle transient cherishing moment of pleasure in the hands of a “beloved”. Delilah was not Satan, she was a nice friend like the ladies around, yet was all that Samson needed to die in shame and loose his soul forever. The bible says that there is a way that seems right to man but the end is the way of death. What are your own little foxes/leavens? Have you counted the cost if your soul should be lost? You must identify them today, be real to yourself, repent of them and nail them to the cross, as they have the ability to make a mess of your life, destroy your labour for the Lord and cost you your crown in heaven.
LET IT GO AND CONTEND EARNESTLY
Dearly beloved God operates by “ALL OR NONE LAW”; your life must be COMPLETELY OFFERED. He does not believe in casual relationship, but in covenant relationship and total surrender. What is that mountain standing between you and God? What is that thing in your life that has become an idol you are worshiping? What is that thing making you to worship God from afar? It is high time you let go and wave it good bye! Christ is ready to take it away and give you a new life full of joy, peace and fulfillment. It may look difficult but I tell you, there is grace for this race. There is yet a River in Zion, a life for dry bones, a way in the wild winds & red sea, and a lamb on the throne.
Our God is faithful; He never rejects His own and does not use a man and leave Him worse. Your soul is so costly that Christ had to die for your sake. He wants to restore your wasted years and decorate your life again. Surrender and rededicate your life to Him today and your life will never remain the same. Knowing these, let’s contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints for there are empty thrones in heaven and there is no crown in hell. If you want to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour say this prayer “Lord Jesus have mercy upon me and forgive me of my sins, wash me clean with your blood, wipe my name out from the book of death and write my name in the book of life, I believe that you died for me and I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour, thank you for saving me, in Jesus name”.
