THE ROYAL INVITATION

Good morning dear friend. How are you doing today? This is a word of hope and salvation.

It’s obvious that the life we are living is now very busy. It is a fast paced world. It is short, fast and furious. Every day we wake up busy looking for funds to eat, pay rent/bills, make investments, get an education and various life projects. And many in search of these have forgotten “The Bread of Life”. Many have forgotten God. God is giving you a royal invitation to come back home to Him today.

Yes, these things are important but can’t satisfy and cannot replace our relationship with God. If you have everything in this life and don’t have God, it is still a failed life. You need Jesus in your life. There is a space in man that only Jesus can occupy. Have you filled the void?. It is time to calm down and reflect. It is a time of deep reflection in response to this royal invitation. God is asking, how are you? How are you doing? How has it been so far? Every day we make life decisions and choices. How are you fairing with those decisions?. Do you think you are on the right path?. Are there decisions and choices you may wish to reconsider because of God?.

God wants you to come back to Him. There is a place of fellowship with God. It called Koinonia. Unfortunately, many have lost their connection and relationship with God, because of our fast paced world full of needs. God said in Isaiah 1:3 “The Ox knows the owner and the donkey it’s masters crib, but Israel does not know, My people do not consider”. Does this apply to you?. Have you forgotten God?. Are you far away from Him or have you deviated from the right path. Or maybe you have never tasted God’s tender love and relationship. How is your relationship with God?. Have you left God?. God is calling you, “come back home”. You have suffered enough. You have tried enough, come back home. Today is an opportunity to get it right. Today is another opportunity to surrender your life to Jesus. He is giving you a royal invitation to come back to Him.

And God is calling us to come back to Bethel (the place we first met him). God is in need of you. He wants you as a son/daughter and as a friend. Jesus died for you on the cross of Calvary. He has paid the price for your sins and your sins can be forgiven today. Will you accept this free offer of salvation today?. It may be your own last call. Jesus is calling you. He knows all your sins and He is ready to accept you the way you are. He is ready to re-write your story and give you a second chance and new beginning. You may argue and say; “But I have failed severally”. Yes, He knows. But He still loves you and believes in you. You may say; “but I have disappointed God”. Yes, He knows, but He has not given up on you. Jesus is calling you to come back to Him.

The Prodigal son failed but was restored. I have also failed in many ways and was restored. God can also restore you today. The race to heaven is not a sprint race but an endurance race filled with different battles. It is not about winning a single battle but winning the battle of your life and destiny. There is still hope for you in Jesus. The King of Glory is standing before you right now with his Hands stretched out, calling you to come. Please, don’t miss this opportunity. Offer your life to Jesus today.

If you want to give your life to Jesus Christ, say this short prayer. “Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, please have mercy on me, I acknowledge that you died for me on the cross of Calvary and today I surrender my life to you as my Lord and personal savior, please wipe my name out from the book of death and write my name in the book of life, thank you for saving me in Jesus name”. If you have said this prayer, you are now saved. Study your Bible and look for a Bible believing church around you and grow in faith. God bless you.
